Fulfillment

“Fulfillment” — a mural by local artist Chris Cargill — beautifully weaves the history of the HOPE Center of Edmond into its design, hiding meaning in plain sight. The HOPE Center was founded in 1984 when 15 Edmond churches joined with volunteers from the Edmond Women’s Club to meet the basic needs of their community. In the mural, fifteen small circles represent those founding churches, while the large circle symbolizes their unity. The surrounding imagery depicts growth, care, and the cultivation of a thriving community born from that collaboration.
Purchased through the Edmond Visual Arts Commission (EVAC) with a private donor/public matching fund program called Art in Public Places in partnership with the Hope Center of Edmond.
