Local artist Chris Cargill's mural "Greetings" is one of three vibrant artworks surrounding Sherry's Drug, an iconic Edmond business that has been a staple on historic Route 66 since 1982. This mural, painted in June 2024, features Sherry Atwood, the business owner, along with the Route 66 shield, a Corvette, and two adorable dogs. Sherry not only supports public art but is also a part of it. The mural was acquired through a collaboration between the Edmond Visual Arts Commission (EVAC) and Sherry Atwood, funded by the Art in Public Places program, which matches private donations with public funds.
