“I Flourish Once Again,” by Reian Williams, is quite a large Oil painting, measuring 60”x48”. The name was inspired by the subject of the piece, a gray wolf. The North American gray wolf was once endangered and nearly extinct in the mainland U.S. in the 1970s. It was protected under the Endangered Species Act and was able to start recovery.
Edmond artist, Reian Williams, is now known across the nation for his work as a hyperrealist artist. After the purchase of this painting, he was selected to be featured in the “Everyone Wins Nominee Gift Bags” at the OSCARS, valued in excess of $100,000 each. All OSCAR nominees such as Ryan Gosling, Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington took home an original Reian Williams painting. Edmond’s piece was purchased through the Edmond Visual Arts Commission (EVAC) with a private donor/public matching fund program called Art in Public Places in partnership with Randel and Dana Shadid.
