"Prairie Crossing," a monumental mural by Hayley Owen and Jesse Owen, showcases an expansive Oklahoma prairie scene with a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, Oklahoma's state bird since 1951. Created for the Oxlley Apartments, the artwork was commissioned through a public-private collaboration between Humphreys Capital, Milhaus, and the Edmond Visual Arts Commission (EVAC) as part of the Art in Public Places initiative.
