“Spring,” also known as “Oklahoma Pasture,” is a 26”x22” framed oil painting by Belle Dickerson. This local Oklahoma City artist began her focus on art during her time at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School and furthered her education at Oklahoma City University (OCU). Her paintings are known for their impressionistic depictions of Oklahoma scenes and still life. This beautiful oil painting of an Oklahoma pasture showcases Dickerson’s signature wispy and textured brush strokes that push the blended sky and hills into the background while bringing forth the colorful scene of a spring pasture. This painting was gifted to the Edmond Visual Arts Commission (EVAC) and City of Edmond by local residents, Jim and Mary White.
