Sunny Days Are Fun Days

Located at Ted Anderson Park
near 2400 S Rankin St
"Sunny Days Are Fun Days" a mosaic by local artist Chris Cargill began as a project between the Edmond Visual Arts Commission (EVAC) and the Edmond Art Association in September 2023.  The Edmond Art Association (EAA) is a registered 501©(3) organization. They feature local art and host monthly artist demonstrations where various artists showcase techniques or discuss business aspects of art.  EVAC was looking for an artist to create a mosaic for Ted Anderson Park.  The request was made to the EAA, and they chose this mosaic design by Don Martin, and Chris Cargill brought it to life.  This is Edmond's first permanently installed mosaic.  Completed in July of 2024 this beautiful piece was purchased with one percent Construction Improvement Project (CIP 1%) funding from the Ted Anderson Park Splashpad Project and approved through the EVAC.
