“Tree Frogs on Cottonwood” can be found at Arcadia Lake, in front of the Spring Creek Lake fee collection station. This bronze work by Tony Hochstetler was awarded “Best of Show” at the Bighorn Rendezvous Art Show by Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine. Hochstetler is known for his bio-diverse sculpture in bronze meaning he creates sculptures of unusual animals including reptiles, amphibians, insects, marine life, and the occasional odd mammal. “Tree Frogs on Cottonwood” is not an exception to his artistic theme. There are over 30 species of tree frogs in the United States, these particular ones sit on top of a cottonwood branch while it blooms in the spring. This piece was purchased with one percent Construction Improvement Project (CIP) funding from the Spring Creek trail at Arcadia Lake through the Edmond Visual Arts Commission (EVAC). The Spring Creek Trails were dedicated on April 28, 2018.
