113 S Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034, USA
“Wandering the Rails,” by Dylan Bradway, is made with an urban contemporary style, both illustrative and dreamlike. According to the artist, this piece brings the spirit of a train-hopping traveler who is gazing toward the path of the rails. Dylan is a local Oklahoma City artist, with an increasing focus on public art. He was one of the founders of the nationally recognized Plaza Walls in Oklahoma City and Vice-President of Oklahoma Mural Syndicate.
This mural was painted for the “Rollin’ Deep Mural Festival”. Over the course of 3 days, 13 artists completed 4,700 square feet of murals on our Downtown businesses and alleyways. This large event turned what was once a simple alley into a new destination spot, selfie station, and outdoor gallery. This piece was purchased through the Edmond Visual Arts Commission (EVAC) with a private donor/public matching fund program called Art in Public Places in partnership with Grant Group & Friends of Rollin' Deep 2020.
